Testing facility and Technology center in Spain

The state-of-the-art test and technology centre south of Madrid was specially built to test summer and winter tyres in different driving conditions. The multi-purpose test track is seven kilometres long and allows checking tyre wear and test drives at a high speed of up to 300 km/h.

In the period from November to December 2019, a double above each other arranged single distance guardrail (EDS) from MEISER Straßenausstattung was installed on the testing facility. The crash barrier spans over 3,000 m, consisting of two steep turns of 1,500 m each.
