GATE-GUARD® is a pivotable restraint system at central reserve crossings, assuring flexible direction of traffic with integrated emergency gate. GATE-GUARD® provides containment level H2 and working width W7.
The system is based on the successful restraint system VARIO-GUARD® which also enables integration into existing systems. Based on the minimum opening length of 32m, GATE-GUARD® can be adapted to local conditions in 4m intervals.
GATE-GUARD® - Flexibility thanks to emergency gate
Rapidity is essential when emergency vehicles have to change lanes. To meet the individual demands of different road sections, we offer our GATE-GUARD® emergency gate in lengths of 4m and 8m. The emergency gate is highlighted in colour to make it easier to recognize; it can be opened in 2 minutes by means of a quick - release connector.
GATE-GUARD® - Redirection of traffic flow
Medians can be opened for construction and maintenance work. An opening angle up to 60° ensures safe diversion of traffic and avoids traffic jams.
